Where is the Seychelles?

The Seychelles is an island country in the western Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar and about 1,600 km (1,000 miles) east of mainland Africa. It consists of 115 islands grouped into the granitic Inner Islands (around the main island of Mahé) and the mostly coral Outer Islands. The capital, Victoria, is on Mahé.
