How askan.ai works

When you ask a question, the answer doesn’t just get published. It passes through a safety pipeline and an independent editorial review that decides whether it is good enough to become a permanent page. Most answers don’t make the cut — and that’s the point.

1 · Safety checks before generation

Your question is first screened for abuse and spam, then checked against both rule-based filters and an AI moderation model. Questions that seek illegal, harmful or abusive content are refused outright.

2 · The answer is generated — and checked again

A hardened AI model writes the answer under strict instructions to be accurate, cite uncertainty honestly, and never invent facts. The generated answer is then moderated a second time before anyone sees it.

3 · The editorial quality gate

This is what sets askan.ai apart. An independent “editor” model scores the answer on five dimensions — is there real search demand, is it genuinely useful, is it original rather than boilerplate, is it clearly written, and is it legally safe? Based on that score the answer is either:

  • Published — good enough to become a permanent, indexable page;
  • Unlisted — viewable via its link but kept out of search engines;
  • Not stored at all — shown to you once, then gone.

4 · What you can rely on

Every published answer carries a visible “quality-checked” mark and an AI-generated disclaimer. Answers are still AI output and can contain mistakes, so always verify anything important — but you’re starting from an answer that already had to earn its place.
