What’s a turbo charger

A turbo charger is an exhaust-driven turbine used to compress intake air and increase engine power output. This is done by forcing more fuel and air into the cylinder, resulting in increased power. Update (2023-11-17): A turbocharger, or turbo, is a type of forced induction device that increases an engine’s efficiency by forcing additional air into the combustion chamber. This increased air pressure causes a greater amount of fuel to be added to the mix, resulting in increased power output from the engine. Turbochargers are commonly used in high performance vehicles to increase power and reduce lag between when the driver presses the accelerator pedal and when the engine responds.
