What is the diagnosis of tuberculosis in Kazakhstan?

In Kazakhstan, the diagnosis of tuberculosis (TB) is usually based on a clinical evaluation, chest X-ray, sputum smear and/or culture, and other relevant laboratory tests such as a blood test for the presence of antibodies to Mycobacterium tuberculosis, a skin test for TB exposure (often called the tuberculin skin test), as well as radiological imaging and molecular testing. Based on the results of these tests, the doctor can confirm a diagnosis of tuberculosis.
