What is Intra-Regional Tourist

Intra-regional tourism is a form of tourism that involves people travelling within their own region or country. This type of tourism is often seen in countries that have a large number of domestic tourists, such as Italy, Spain, or France. Intra-regional tourism takes advantage of the natural attractions and points of interest that a region has to offer. It typically includes city-based tourism such as cultural attractions, shopping, special events, culinary experiences, and outdoor activities. Additionally, it may also involve local tourism within a specific province, state, or county. Update (2023-08-28): Intra regional tourism is tourism within regions of a country or between neighbouring countries. It can cover business travel, cultural tours, leisure trips, educational tours, research or visits to family and friends. For example, in Europe, intra regional tourism may include trips by Britons to other parts of the UK, or by French people to other EU countries in the region.
