/25 season Rapid City Rush - South Dakota South Dakota’s most experienced professional ice hockey team, the Rapid City Rush, gears up for another season of wins in the fast-paced ECHL league. Coming back from a 6 consecutive games losing streak last season, the Rush hit home 3 fantastic wins over the Tulam Bison during a sinfully wonderful weekend, giving them their second 3-win streak of the year. Following that, and with the upcoming Rapid City Rush Season Opener cosplay night, fans can expect an explosive opening night as the San Jose Seals attempt to conquer the ECHL powerhouse on the Rapid City Rush ice. As always, the Rapid City Rush will be led by their experienced captain, Pierre-Cédric Labrie, who has been with the team since 2017 and has been a key player in their previous playoff runs. Joining him will be other returning players such as Andrew Radjenovic, Cedric Montminy and Alex Rauter, who all had stellar performances last season. The team has also made some new additions to the roster, including the former NHL player Filip Chlapik, who brings a wealth of experience and skill to the Rush. Other notable new additions include goaltender Adam Huska, defenseman Chase Priskie and forward Tyler Moy. Under the leadership of Head Coach Daniel Tetrault, the Rush are aiming to improve on their success from last season and bring home the coveted Kelly Cup. With a strong mix of veteran and new players, the team is confident in their abilities to dominate the ice and secure a spot in the playoffs. Fans can look forward to several themed nights throughout the season, including the popular dollar beer night, Star Wars night, and Teddy Bear toss night. The team has also partnered with local charities and organizations to give back to the community and share their love for hockey with fans of all ages. With a passionate fan base and a talented roster, the Rapid City Rush are ready to take on the ECHL and bring another exciting season of hockey to South Dakota.
