How many did genrikh yagoda kill

Genrikh Yagoda was a Soviet secret police leader during the late 1930s and played a significant role in the Great Purge under Joseph Stalin. While it is difficult to provide an exact number of deaths attributed to him, he was instrumental in the execution and imprisonment of many perceived enemies of the state. Estimates vary, but it is believed that during his tenure, hundreds of thousands of people were executed or died in labor camps as a result of policies and actions associated with Yagoda and the NKVD (the Soviet secret police at the time). Ultimately, he himself was arrested and executed during the Great Purge in 1938.
