How are they able to stay hidden from the tracker? The rabbit Proof fence

was built over a century ago to keep rabbits from destroying farmland in Australia. It is a fence-like structure made of metal mesh which is stretched across miles of land in Western Australia. Rabbits can't cross the long fence, so they stay hidden from the tracker in their own isolated systems. The mesh is dense enough to stop them from passing and it also helps them remain undetected as they move away from the tracker. Additionally, the vastness of the Australian Outback provides plenty of areas for rabbits to hide from the tracker. They can also use natural features, such as bodies of water, to make a discreet escape route.
