dropbox videos

Quote Post by felix8794 » August 13th, 2019, 6:36 pm I have been experiencing a problem with videos that have been shared with me from other Dropbox clients. I can playback the videos from file explorer but when I import them to iSpring they get renamed and i get a message saying that they can't be opened. Hello, Thank you for posting! How are you importing your video into the program? Are you using a Freeform question or Slide manager to import it? Please clarify. Thank you! i use the Insert Video feature to add the videos, same as we have done for years now without issue. video1.PNG (18.88 KiB) Viewed 3532 times Okay, I've checked the image you sent as well as the error message and this feature from the question editor doesn't give any issue on our end. Maybe the video itself is what might cause an issue - may I ask you to send it to This email address is being protected from spambots. Re: dropbox videos Quote Post by felix8794 » August 14th, 2019, 2:35 pm Sorry, I was mistaken. I was thinking you meant the insert flash video feature that we use to add PPT conversions. The videos and project files are so large I can't upload them. When the video is shared from dropbox and shows as a link to the video in the dropbox folder the video is imported and works fine in iSpring. When I download the video to my desktop and place the video file in that folder the video is imported and does not work. I basically end up with a placeholder that says 'cannot be opened'. After much looking in dropbox on both the pc's and trying different things I thought of one more thing to try that I should have thought of earlier, IOS6. The clips play just fine. My application is actual imbedding the .mp4 files in the application so that won't work. Any more ideas?More work for me Thanks for your feedback! That might be caused by mp4 video splitting in your powerpoint settings. Or that specific mp4 doesn't work properly on a specific Windows 10 machine Thank you!
