Did any human actually walk on the moon?
Yes, humans have walked on the Moon. The first successful manned moon landing was Apollo 11, which occurred on July 20, 1969. Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin became the first and second humans to set foot on the lunar surface, while Michael Collins remained in orbit around the Moon in the command module. Armstrong famously declared, "That's one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind," when he stepped onto the Moon. Subsequent Apollo missions, from Apollo 12 to Apollo 17 (with the exception of Apollo 13), also landed astronauts on the Moon, totaling 12 individuals who have walked on its surface.
