Are Sika deer endangered

As of my last update in October 2023, Sika deer (Cervus nippon) are not considered endangered globally; they are classified as "Least Concern" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). However, the conservation status can vary by region. While they are relatively common in parts of their native range in East Asia, they face threats in some areas due to habitat loss, hunting, and competition with other species. If you need the most current information about a specific population or region, it's a good idea to check recent conservation reports or databases.
