So I have some sheets where some one slept in and I want to "preserve" the smell / transfer it to something so I can enjoy the smell longer. This is consentual

If you want to preserve a scent from a sheet, here are a few methods you can consider: 1. **Scented Solution**: Mix water with a small amount of fabric softener or a similar scented product. Lightly mist the sheets with this solution, making sure not to soak them. Hang them up to dry, and the scent will linger. 2. **Scented Sachets**: Place small sachets filled with dried lavender, herbs, or cotton balls soaked in essential oils inside a breathable container. You can use these sachets alongside your sheets or keep them in drawers or closets. 3. **Repurposing Fabric**: If you have small pieces of fabric that you can cut from the sheets, you can soak them in a scent-capturing mixture (like essential oils with a carrier oil) and then place them in small bags or containers. 4. **Clothing Spray**: Create your own fabric spray by mixing water with essential oils that you find appealing. Lightly spray it on the sheets and other fabrics to refresh the scent over time. 5. **Scented Candles or Oils**: To capture the ambiance of the scent without using the sheets directly, consider using scented candles or diffusers that mimic the smell you want to preserve. 6. **Fragrance Oils**: Use fragrance oils that can remind you of the scent. You can apply a few drops onto a cotton ball or small cloth and store it in a small container, allowing the fragrance to fill the space. Just be mindful of any allergies or sensitivities to scents that you or others might have.
